Magic of Eternia

Eons ago, Magic gave birth to Eternia, the first planet in all of creation. Centuries pasted and the Dragons were created on the planet, followed by Humans, called Eternians. Magic was the life source on the planet Trolla and its people, the Trollans. Three forms of magic existed on Eternia, Ha’vok, Ka and Zoar. These magics were used to create Preternia.

Ha’vok magic was a very powerful chaotic form of magic, symbolised by a ram. It was nearly impossible not to get corrupted by it and as such, it was rarely used by mortals. If the power was taken by a user with hatred and malice intentions, it came at a price, the power would transform them: their skin was removed from their face, leaving a floating skull where their head once was.

Ka magic, also known as Snake Magic was an extremely powerful form of Magic, symbolised by a cobra. This type was used by the Snake men and the Dragons. Ka was fueled by passion, and could easily cause its user to lose control and be taken over by their emotions. Centuries ago, the leader of the dragons, Granamyr granted humans the use of Ka magic. It corrupted them, the humans fought in great wars over its use. When all Eterians which had the power became extinct, Granamyr swore to never again allow humans to use it and the magic was lost to them.

Zoar magic was the magic most associated with good, symbolized by a falcon. This form of magic was gifted to the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull, so that she may protect Castle Grayskull and its power. Though this magic grants the Sorceress great wisdom and power it was not without its own cost. She was forever tethered to Castle Grayskull, unable to retain her human form outside its walls. When she left, she would transform into a falcon with limited use of her magic. This rule ended when Teela became the Sorceress, she was able to retain her humanoid form and magic outside of the Castle.

In modern times, the only mortal known to have wielded all three forms of magic was Teela. She gained the power of Zoar when she became the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull, after her mother Teelana was killed. When Dark-Lyn destroyed Preternia, Teela sought the other two forms of magic to restore it. She traveled to find Granamyr, who begrudgingly agreed to give her Ka magic, and obtained Ha’vok magic when a reformed Lyn took the Havoc Staff from Skeletor and gave it to her. The magic almost destroyed her but Prince Adam used the Sword of Power to channel all of the magic, transforming her into the Tri-Sorceress, allowing her to restore Preternia.
